Life is a song by Patrick Park

I'm having difficulties posting new blogs for the past
few months...little that i know that I've key in the
wrong user name and directed me to somebody else account. =p

So...for a fresh start, here's one of the song the I'll
play whenever I need to take a break from getting more
serious brain injuries caused by the nerve-wrecking
assignments.

So,yeah.....its called, "Life is a song", and
originally done by Patrick Park.

* this song were played during the last episode of The O.C.

Intro:

C G
You say life is a dream where we can't say what we mean
Am G F
Maybe just some roadside scene that we're driving past
C G
There's no telling where we'll be in a day or in a week
C G F
And there's no promises of peace or of happiness

C G
Well is this why you cling to every little thing
Am G F
And polverize and derrange all your senses
C G
Maybe life is a song but you're scared to song along
C G F
Until the very ending

G Am G F C
Oh, it's time to let go of everything we used to know
Am G F
Ideas that strengthen who we've been
Am G F C
It's time to cut ties that won't ever free our minds
Am G F
From the chains and shackles that they're in

G C
Oh, tell me what good is saying that you're free
G
In a dark and storming sea
Am G F
You're chained to your history, you're surely sinking fast
C G
You say that you know that the good Lord's in control
C G F
He's gonna bless and keep your tired and oh so restless soul
C G
But at the end of the day when every price has been paid
Am G F
You're gonna rise and sit beside him on some old seat of gold
C G
And won't you tell me why you live like you're afraid to die
C G F
You'll die like you're afraid to go

G Am G F C
Oh, it's time to let go of everything we used to know
Am G F
Ideas that strengthen who we've been
Am G F C
It's time to cut ties that won't ever free our minds
Am G F
From the chains and shackles that they're in
Am G F
From the chains and shackles that they're in

Gm Dm Gm Dm
Gm Dm Gm Dm

C G
Well life is a dream 'cause we're all walking in our sleep
Am G F
You could see us stand in lines like we're dead upon our feet
C G
And we build our house of cards and then we wait for it to fall
C G F C
Always forget how strange it is just to be alive at all

Doa buat Atuk Ahmad.

Ke Makam Atuk Ahmad.
(edited from Ke Makam Ibu-A. Samad Said)

...in loving memories, Ahmad bin Abu
(1927-March 26, 2007).

Kami mengunjungi pusara Atuk Ahmad,
Sunyi pagi disinari suria,
Wangi berseri puspa kemboja,
Menyambut kami mewakili keluarga.

Tegak kami di makam sepi,
Lalang-lalang tinggi berdiri,
Dua nisan terkapar mati,
Hanya papan dimakan bumi.

Dalam kenangan kami melihat,
Mesra kasih Atuk Ahmad menatap,
Sedang lena dalam rahap,
Dua tangan kaku berdakap.

Bibir Atuk Ahmad bersih lesu,
Pernah dulu mengucupi dahiku,
Kini kurasakan kasihnya lagi,
Meski jauh dibatasi bumi.

Nisan batu kami tegakkan,
Tiada lagi lalang memanjang,
Ada doa kami pohonkan,
Air mawar kami siramkan.

Senyum kemboja menghantar kami,
Meninggalkan makam sepi sendiri,
Damailah Atuk Ahmad dalam pengabdian,
Insan kerdil mengadap Tuhan.

*Al-Fatihah buat Allahyarham Ahmad bin
Abu....

In Commemorations of Leila. TheIntelligent Cat, ever. *August 2005-March 2, 2007*

If I die tonight.
(originally done by too phat)

*Dedicated to the loving memory of Leila
August 2005-March 2nd, 2007*

(chorus)
If I die tonight
You know it'll be alright
Just smile for me
Reminisce the fond memories

If I die tonight
What would I do
On my last day
I know I'd wake early
In the morning for crack
Of dawn's last pray
Then probably go for breakfast
Like I used to do
Honey Frieskies PREMIUM
And a bowl of milk at ‘ruang-tamu’
In front of Abu.

And friends from way back
Neighborhood homies
Extended family
They only know me
As that same cat
With fleas on my head
Brown-white colors
Biting Ben’s PS2 cords,
Jumping off the Astro decoder,
Playing tricks on fools
Then I'd come back to the Belack’s crib
Curdling up a bit
Y'all know Belack’s room's messy
Though classy
Start ‘arrange’ my s**t
Line them up on the bed one by one
Start with the light green
And end them with the hard long
yellowish one,
Cover it with a Belack’s blanket
With the horrible smell of each dung
I think I know my homies
And who would clean which one
Get on Yoshie’s laptop
And holla' at everybody on his Frienster
list,
It's nearly noon
Gots to have lunch
With Shiro and the “family”
Then spend the last day
I don't know
Try do a million other things
Hoping somehow
Time will slow
I guess what
I'm trying to say is
Take everyday
Like it was your last
Work towards your dreams
Before you pass
And have a blast
While you at it
'Cause we don't know
When we go go
So make the best of it
Just keep it real to yourself
And to all people
If y'all lost somebody before
Remember there'll be a sequel …Chorus (2x)

Well if I die tonight
I wonder
Where I'll be tomorrow
Nobody cry please
Push away the sorrow
'Cause I ain't been
The best of cat
The best of pet
The best of Belack, Yoshie, Abu, Ben
And Peyhoon's last mate
The best of anything
Tell Shiro here's a last one

If I die tonight
Would I be forgiven
By Abu coz I steal his “ikan-bilis”
When I was livin'?
Those who I hurt their hearts
Took advantage of Yoshie
And even lied to Ben
Hug you all one last time
For forgiveness
Yeah I would like to

If I die tonight
Would Belack feel the loss?
Tomorrow would Shiro
call me for my breast milk
then suddenly... pause?

If I die tonight
I wonder who would get
To keep my “s**tting-spot”
Friskies, even my resting
place under Ben’s RAV4 too
Go to Abu’s balcony
”Meow-ing” every-cat from A to Z
Tell 'em this ain't Leila
She passed away last night
And pray she rest in peace

If I die tonight
Would you think of my cage
When you see blue
Wanted to clean it up this morning
But then I never knew

If I die tonight
What would happen to Shiro?
How long would it take
Before he kissed another mom?...
God damn...
When following Ben, Abu, Yoshi n Belack
to food joints
Would he still get
The same piece of chicken like I always do?
Things I wish I knew...Chorus 2X

A cute lil' thing
To many eyes
To us you were simply
A beautiful cat
We tell no lies
We went from
Picking up at “mamak stall”
To pals real tight
Rendezvous up while watching American
Chopper and
game between MU and Liverpool all night
Abu used to step on ur foot
And Ben nearly “roll” u with his jeep
Yoshie slammin' the door n nearly bang
ur head
And Belack almost spin u inside the
washing machine...

Remember after u gave birth to the three
kittens
You ran away, and became sick,
We rush u to the Vet at Equine Park
To see you get better even if it
cost us RM 180.

The last time
We met was '28 February
You feelin' upset at the Vet over...
something
We can't remember...
We never apologized
Till February 2nd 2007
When we heard you passed away
When we are deep in our sleep
Your loss taught us
Not to take our pets for granted
Small fever
Gotta rush them to the vet real quick
Death you never plan it
You're sorely missed down here Leila
Rest in peace
This too shall pass
But our true friendship will never cease..
Love..

Chorus (till end)

View each other as partners, not rivals.

This expose was written by Wong Chun Wai, a journalist from the Star newspaper. Generally, this article talks about how Malaysian’s politic should be in today’s world which is co-operate between one parties to another regardless of ethnics, races, religion and background history of each citizens. The writer begins the topic by refreshing our mind on how history has proven that co-operation between all Malaysians can lead to triumph. For example, the write had given such names like Datuk Onn Jaafar, Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and our present Prime Minister-Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. It tells us how this great Malay leader of ours shows a true patriot by sharing their powers with the Chinese and Indians. The writer also credited Tun Ghafar Baba who has been known never uttered any hurtful remarks against other races.

Then the article touches on the collaboration between Chinese political parties with UMNO. It tells how in past MCA leaders such as Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Tun Tan Siew Sin and Tan Sri Wong Pow Nee were branded as running dog in the past by Labour Party leaders because they work with UMNO and in present times how PAS and DAP have continued to criticise such relations, dismissing the MCA and Gerakan as weak.

The article then talks on how today demographic changes and economic strength of Malaysian had lead to high collaboration between Malays, Chinese, Indians and other ethnics in Malaysia. It share how important this group effort in order to achieve a better returns.

A new beginning.

Huuhh… this blogging kind of thing seems a lot harder than what I thought it would be. Really couldn't help it…I just froze right after i login to my account…its one of that feelings where you are dead-starving an went to McD but unexpectedly when the guy behind the counter asking for your order…you just stumped and end up with a cone of McFlurry on your right hand and a piece of tissue of the other. Seriously, you can ask me to calculate the loads of a 30 stories height condo, get rid of my friends' cat's craps or go to the lecturer and bull-shitting about why my model looks more like a car crash…….but writing a paragraph of what I've been driving around for the past 1 week is a natural catastrophic!! Its in my genes…there's nothing much that I can resolve =).

Well, today is the fourth day of my first week here in Limkokwing after enrolling for the second year. A lot of things has change….and the most prominent one is that starting from now on, there will be no more free printing services at the computer lab…. and this is disastrous!! This means that there will be no more free lyrics….no more two inches thick of free "Learning Japanese for Dummies" and above all, there'll be no more free SpongeBob posters….puff! Gone! Vanished! R.I.P! *sometimes I wonder, where in the world that all of our resource-fees were spent into…coz we have to pay for our own parking, have to buy for our own photocopy-card, pay for all of the printings, xeroxs our own lecture notes, and pay RM100 just for a trip to Batu Caves???? It’s a RM500 bills per student…and if you times it up with 3000 students, you'll get a total of RM 1.5 millions per semester!!! Where the hell that all of this money goes to??? Is stephanie marie lim expecting for a brand new 350Z????? It's insanely unacceptable!! Please, call somebody from BPR, KGB, M16 or something before he slaughters more Norman Foster and Donna Karin of tomorrow!!

I also experiencing some weird things here in my apartment. My wall is "leaking"!! Yes!! Leaking as "waters drip out from my wall"….its not just a "leaking"-leaking…..but trust me, the amount of water that seeps out from my wall can be pour into the spinning-drum and rinse off my laundry!!! Yeah, its damn scary and i really think that M. Night Shamalan should start a story bout this one.

Other than that, everything has been work-out pretty lovely. I've received my result, pass all of the modules taken in previous semester and able to proceed to 2nd year. There are lots of new-found faces around my class this semester….there's a group of geeks, a set of "kentel" kind of guys…and yeah….a flock of hot chicks!!! Yeah…words to the hot chicks =)

Till then….

p/s: Today me, Eddie, Andrew and Khing went for a tea at Old Town, Jusco Seri Kembangan. It’s a nice baba-and nyonya kind of kopitiam with a great interiors, decorated with tons of Yap Ah Loy's kind of portraits. I asked for an orange juice but the three Sunways forced me to give it a go at the "cold-cham"- (theoretically a fusion of iced coffee an tea)…. I've been thinking that this would be one nice evening's caffeine after a hectic day at college….but to my surprise, it turn out to be tasted one million percents like an iced Nescafe!!
Yeah, take it away…. I just can't believed it that I've paid $3.00 for a glass of nescafe!!! Its like spending 10 ringgit for a plate of "maggi goreng" that had been changed its name into "crouching tiger and hidden mee". Oh my God….why me????

Hopefully this one last.... Hav a nice day =)
